What to expect from the course
It is best to start from as early as possible after birth but it's not too late if your baby or child is older. You will learn about the benefits, when and when not to massage, oils to use, baby cues and much more. The massage strokes are easy to learn and include - arms & legs massage, chest & stomach massage, back massage, colic routine and face massage. I will demonstrate the massage strokes on a baby doll and so you will be the only person massaging your baby.
Age
The earlier you can massage your baby, the better and there is no upper age limit - your child will decide. As your baby grows, you can adapt massage to incorporate it in games and stories and even teenagers will appreciate a shoulder and neck massage to relieve a headache or ease tension from sports activities. It can also be useful during times of stress such as changing classes or sitting exams.
